Born in 1977 in Germany, I studied architecture at the ‘Technische Universität’ of Darmstadt (Germany) and at the ‘Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura » of Madrid (Spain). Since 2006 I’m working as an architect in Lyon (France) where I started my artistic activity simultaneously. I obtained the status of independent artist in 2020.

Originally from Germany and after living for years in Madrid and Paris, I live in Lyon since 2006. Simultaneously to me career as an architect, art always belonged to my life. Influenced by bright spaces, simple and cleared forms, I work on my tableaus, attracted by everything that is sober, subtle and pure­ what has finesse.
For me the artistic work represents a manner of concentration­ a concentration on the essential a kind of purification of the mind. I purge, I clean and I simplify my pictures leaving only the quint essence, it’s predominant character. I reduce step by step the colours, the structures obtaining finally a result cleaned from anything superfluous. It’s a process of about three, sometimes four steps: the initial photography, the assembling to a diptych or triptych, a work of computerised purification and reinforcement and the accomplishment by drawing and painting.
