Sculpture, installation, textile, mixed media, drawing and print are fields I‘m interested in. My work
combines analog and digital processes and focuses on material and architecture as a context for structural forms and environments. I mostly use post industrial and found materials from construction sites, like copper, raw marble/stone, bitumen, wood, wire, textile and wax. The quality and characteristics of these materials react on and consider my surroundings, be it urban, spatial or social.
By extracting the materiality and components from layers of architecture, I aim to create compositions that attempt new modes of reading and perceiving. I try to challenge the material, transforming itinto a static element or a continous, or sometimes fragmented reaction to my environment within an approach that is quite intuitive. Considering time, fragments, material and space, I see the potential in the material to become something else - a body, a structure, a surface where materials and shapes are related to one another.
