Ayano (Kumiko Tsunashima).JPG

Born in Lorraine, since my childhood I have always drawn portraits. After reading books to broaden my culture, I deepened the charcoal drawing by focusing on the portrait and the bare. I then approached oil painting, through the study of masters (Leonard De Vinci, Raphael, Picasso...). I then engaged in more
personal work. The face isn’t what is seen but rather what is hidden. I try to decipher them, to tell and reinvent them. My subjects emerge from a universe segmented that I put on my canvases.

The segmentation :

Technique that I created and that was validated by the international master Mario

Salvo and by three art critics ( hence the term segmentation).

My technique is essentially made up of segment. I create my subjects by keeping the
main features and I segment the areas (shadows, faces...) according to the creativity
of the moment. A work of decomposition and reconstruction. With segmentation, I

express my vision of things in the world.
