Meriko was attending the art high school, the continued her studies at the university.
Because she was compared a lot with other painters, she stops drawing.
She hadn't painted for nearly 10 years, but suddenly she resumed painting and
started posting on Instagram.
Currently, she continues to draw abstract paintings on a daily basis, mainly with alcohol ink.

I’m drawing while I’m trying to imagine "what is it happening in my heart".
When I'm drawing, I'm always having a dialogue with myself.
I try to dig deep in myself by looking at my feelings that I left left behind when I was younger.
I continue to draw with the aim of gaining new awareness and encounters through it.
