Noro

Ayano (Kumiko Tsunashima).JPG

Noro was born in Madagascar. She lives in France, in Burgundy. Her passion is
painting, oil painting. She likes playing with vibrant colours. Her abstract art has
been inspired by her childhood in Madagascar and her several trips throughout
Europe. Her choice of colours and texture are stunning.

I use oil paint, oil painting is such a beautiful medium to work with. When I paint, I let myself go. I remember the atmosphere of the colourful market in Madagascar. Painting is a way to create my own vision of the world. I am a storyteller. I am happy when the viewer can relate to my paintings. I choose bright and rich vibrant colours that can fill the heart with joy. I would like to be a committed artist and to denounce the injustice of the world through my artwork. When there is chaos in the world, my paintings are colourful and unusual because they are filled with sunshine. I also enjoy painting feminine figures to claim my freedom as a woman artist. Moreover, I can connect with my inner world with my art. I have been inspired by Frida Kahlo, Pablo Picasso, George O’Keeffe and Wassily Kandinsky.
