Born on March 10th, 1989 in Burgdorf near Bern, Switzerland. After school and apprenticeship as a draftsman, I studied interior design in Bern. Now I'm still working professionally in architecture. In addition to my job, I invest a lot of time in photography, writing or with experimental instrumental music. With a
constant eagerness to gain knowledge and experience, as well as an eye for visual aesthetics, I am determined to pursue my ambition in seeking opportunities in new and diverse environments.
My first inspiration was an encounter with a photo of Michael Wesely. I liked the possibility to show more in a photo than a single moment or a long-term
exposure with some blurred lights in the night. Now, to catch several moments
in a single photo and also to break the straight lines of an object is the main
claim of my work. I try to create a transition from a real object into a surreal
atmosphere, which can also be understood as an homage to transience. The
blurred look of my photography will catch the viewer to take a closer look to see and understand the whole image.
