"I'm working as a painter in Japan.
I'm painting on Japanese paper with natural mineral pigments.
Japanese pigments are materials used in Japanese traditional painting.
Having spent my childhood in a place rich in nature, I liked playing in the fields,
by ponds and rivers.
I like plants and insects, and I often use them as painting motifs.
Creatures and insects teach me the importance of protecting the natural environment."
