LG FOCUS Technology & Human Creativity

LG Electronics USA is the Official Partner of FOCUS Art Fair New York 2026, with its technology powering the artworks on view. In collaboration with LG, the Technology & Human Creativity section brings together artists for whom technology is not a tool, but a medium - fluid, experimental, and alive. Digital devices become the work itself; the boundaries between creator, process, and output dissolve. Spanning visually striking imagery and interactive, immersive experiences, the section presents some of the most exciting voices working at the intersection of art and technology today.

HWIA KIM

What If works at the intersection of AI, photography, and moving image, crafting immersive cinematic environments that blend organic forms with digital aesthetics.

Her practice explores new visual languages through technology, with a focus on atmosphere, perception, and emotional impact.

SEHUN CHOI

Sehun Choi is an AI concept artist and architectural technologist bridging the gap between historical architecture and contemporary AI.

He reinterprets timeless architectural forms through generative AI to construct new visual narratives connecting past, present, and future.

SHANE FU

Shane Fu is a motion designer creating a variety of digital artwork including digital art, AR/VR design, and 3D anamorphic billboards.

Through his ongoing project Dreamscape, he bends reality with immersive motion design across street corners around the world.

NEDKO WATER

Nedko Water creates kinetic water installations that explore the interplay between biotic and abiotic memory, using elements like submerged hair to evoke erosion, transformation, and impermanence.

His audience-activated works blur the line between installation and performance, inviting viewers into a living, ever-shifting dialogue with water and time.
