FOCUS Art Fair New York returns to Chelsea Industrial, presenting contemporary Asian art in one of the world’s most dynamic cultural districts.
Guided by the theme “Human–Technology Coexistence,” this edition highlights works engaging with our changing relationship to technology: AI, digital worlds, automation, and new tools, while remaining open to the full range of artistic practices on view. Through curated presentations and public programmes, FOCUS creates space for discovery, dialogue, and cultural exchange.

CINEDOM K-CULTURE
FOCUS 아시아 현대미술 페어가 오는 5월 21일부터 24일까지 뉴욕 첼시 갤러리 지구에 위치한 약 2,044㎡ 규모의 첼시 인더스트리얼(Chelsea Industrial)에서 네 번째 뉴욕 에디션을 개최한다.
아시아태평양계 미국인(AAPI) 문화유산의 달과 맞물려 열리는 이번 에디션은, 아시아 출신 및 전 세계 아시아 디아스포라 작가들을 중심으로 프로그램을 개편한 이후 뉴욕에서 처음 선보이는 FOCUS 페어다.

Singapore-based One East Asia returns to FOCUS Art Fair New York this month with works by Filipino artists Abi Dionisio, Demi Padua, Isko Andrade, and Shannah Orencio. The fair ran May 21 to 24 at Chelsea Industrial in Manhattan, marking the gallery’s second participation in the New York edition.

The show, New York’s only art fair dedicated to contemporary Asian art, featured uniquely tender subversions of this year’s topical theme.
After a day of Googling why my back hurt (sedentary computer lifestyle, inflamed SI joint), it only made sense that the art fair I attended the same afternoon would contain some element of human-technology body horror.
